Okta Engineering Operations Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Okta Engineering Operations Lead to oversee the operational health of the Okta identity platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the operational subject-matter expert for IAM services in cloud and on-premises environments
• Lead daily operations for authentication and authorization services, ensuring stability and performance
• Drive the adoption of IAM reference architectures and operational standards through repeatable procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 8+ years of practical IT experience, with 5+ years in Information Security
• Strong background in information security fundamentals and IAM services in enterprise environments
• Experience with IAM implementations in Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Preferred security industry certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+)
