Okta ICAM Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting client ICAM modernization initiatives, the remote Okta ICAM Engineer will design, implement, and maintain identity solutions using Okta Identity Cloud while ensuring compliance with federal standards and enhancing security integration.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement ICAM solutions to meet federal identity requirements, including SSO and MFA
- Integrate Okta with client credential systems and support identity federation across government applications
- Build automation workflows using Okta Workflows and troubleshoot identity-related issues in authentication flows
Required qualifications
- US Citizen
- 5-8+ years of experience in ICAM/IAM engineering within federal or government environments
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with Okta Identity Cloud
- Practical experience with PIV/CAC-based authentication and PKI trust chains
- Strong understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth) and directory services
