Job Summary

A company is looking for an Ombuds to serve as a confidential resource for community members with concerns or complaints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide confidential guidance and support to individuals or groups with concerns within the community
  • Offer independent feedback on organizational policies and suggest improvements for equity and access
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and raise awareness of the Ombuds function as a neutral resource
Required Qualifications
  • Advanced degree or certification in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Mediation, or related field
  • Experience as an organizational or advocacy ombuds
  • Mediation or conflict resolution training and/or experience
  • Experience working with complex, multi-site organizations
  • Certification as an Organizational Ombuds Practitioner (CO-OP) is highly desirable
