OMS Platform Developer
Job Summary
Supporting performance and reliability initiatives, the remote OMS Platform Developer will manage platform infrastructure, optimize databases, and execute performance testing for backend services.
Key responsibilities
- Support platform infrastructure with a focus on performance, reliability, and resiliency
- Configure and optimize databases that support order-related data and system performance
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and enhance observability and logging capabilities
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with Kafka, including topics, producers/consumers, and transactions
- Background in performance testing or load testing of APIs and distributed systems
- Experience with observability and logging tools; OpenTelemetry is a plus
