Job Summary
To support a top financial publisher's growth, the full-time On-Air Stock Market Broadcaster will deliver breaking news audio analysis on significant developments across asset classes, focusing on U.S. equities, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Broadcast and produce real-time business developments for a professional investor audience, covering topics such as earnings, economic news, and Wall Street commentary
- Monitor and analyze primary sources of information and market signals to provide instant clarity to an active trading audience
- Engage with Wall Street sources to uncover exclusive commentary and guide teammates on news gathering and urgency
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience using market scanner tools and data (e.g., Bloomberg, Think or Swim)
- Experience in radio or multimedia is preferred
- At least three years of experience at an investment institution or digital publication, preferably in financial media
- Expert knowledge of the U.S. stock market and various professional trading styles
- Familiarity with news writing, AP Style, and journalism principles and ethics
