On-Call Podcast Producer

Job Summary

Offering a remote contract opportunity, the On-Call Podcast Producer will provide podcast production and newsletter writing support to city teams on an as-needed basis, typically filling staffing gaps for assignments ranging from one week to three months.

Key responsibilities:

• Produce engaging editorial content for podcasts, newsletters, and social media
• Generate timely pitches for daily podcast and newsletter content
• Edit podcast episodes and produce ads for inclusion in episodes

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience creating and/or editing editorial content
• Experience in a deadline-driven editorial environment
• Excellent writing skills with a clear, engaging voice
• Familiarity with Descript or willingness to learn
• Must be located and authorized to work within the United States
