On-call RN or NP

Job Summary

A company is looking for an On-call Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Answer the overnight call line and assess patient complaints, providing education, interventions, and referrals as appropriate
• Complete nursing assessments and provide care education to patients through text or over the phone
• Collaborate with providers and other departments while adhering to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)

Requirements

• BSN prepared RN from an accredited nursing education program
• 2+ years clinical nursing experience and 1+ years providing abortion care
• Active state licensure (RN) in specified states or compact state license plus CA, NY, IL
• RN experience in direct abortion care
• Commitment to reproductive justice and ability to provide judgment-free abortion care
