Job Summary

Creative and detail-oriented, the On-Call Social Media Producer will write and produce engaging content for various social platforms, optimizing Marketplace's presence remotely on an as-needed basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Write and produce shareable graphics and short-form videos under tight deadlines for all social media platforms
• Assist with social media campaigns and strategically schedule and publish content
• Collaborate with newsroom partners and use data to inform content strategies while ensuring brand consistency

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or a related field
• 2+ years of experience producing content for social platforms on behalf of a brand or media outlet
• Strong knowledge of social media trends, particularly on video-first platforms like YouTube and TikTok
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Premiere, CapCut, or similar editing software
• Demonstrated success in creating engaging campaigns and social media posts
