Job Summary

A company is looking for an Onboarding Specialist to facilitate member transitions to a health plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact for new members, addressing their needs and concerns
  • Educate members on health plan offerings and ensure continuity of care during the transition
  • Document member healthcare services and schedule initial nurse intake visits
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in call center and/or Medicare/Medicaid plan
  • Five years of relevant experience required
  • One year of outreach experience with individuals facing behavioral, medical, or social complexities
  • Experience in a multi-cultural setting and using motivational interviewing techniques
  • Preferred experience with electronic medical records and care management systems
