Oncologist Advisor

Job Summary

Seeking experienced oncologists, the part-time Oncologist Advisor will provide clinical, operational, and strategic insights to evaluate and support healthcare startups focused on oncology and related fields, working remotely for approximately 2-4 hours per month.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and strategic guidance on healthcare startups in oncology, diagnostics, therapeutics, and digital health
• Support evaluation of healthcare startups regarding business models, clinical relevance, and scalability
• Advise on oncology workflows, patient care pathways, and commercialization strategies for portfolio companies

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with experience practicing oncology
• Board certification or board eligibility in oncology, hematology-oncology, surgical oncology, or radiation oncology preferred
• Experience in cancer care, clinical trials, and healthcare innovation preferred
• Strong understanding of oncology workflows and patient care pathways
• Ability to commit 2-4 hours per month to advisory activities
