Oncology Applied Research Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Applied Research Scientist - Oncology.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate and drive applied research studies focused on oncology from ideation through peer-review publication
• Apply rigorous methods for observational data studies and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide feedback on research solutions

Required Qualifications

• MD or PhD in Epidemiology, HEOR, Biostatistics, or a related field
• Extensive experience with statistical and econometric methods for analyzing complex real-world data
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with statistical programming in R and/or Python
• 5+ years of experience developing research publications, including peer-reviewed manuscripts
• 3+ years of experience partnering with cross-functional teams and communicating research findings to non-technical stakeholders
