Oncology Biostatistics Director

Job Summary

Leading the statistical strategy for solid tumor oncology, the full-time salaried Oncology Biostatistics Director will manage a cross-functional team to support clinical development, regulatory interactions, and evidence generation, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the US.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the compound-level statistical lead, developing integrated statistical strategies for clinical trials and regulatory submissions
• Coordinate contributions from a diverse quantitative team, ensuring scientific quality and alignment across all statistical efforts
• Engage with regulatory bodies and health technology assessments, guiding the preparation of statistical content for submissions

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MBA, or equivalent) in Oncology, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D or scientific partnering, particularly in oncology
• Strong understanding of oncology drug discovery and translational science
• Proven ability to engage with scientific leaders and navigate early-stage biotech ecosystems
• Experience in competitive intelligence and scientific scouting within oncology
