Oncology Budget Analyst

Job Summary

To support the oncology department's financial management, the full-time Budget Analyst will develop and analyze budgets, monitor expenditures, and advise management on financial allocations in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and analyze various budgets, ensuring consistency with fiscal requirements and cost projections
• Monitor expenditures and perform budget reconciliations while providing detailed financial analysis
• Prepare comprehensive reports for department administration and advise on funding availability and budget variances

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Experience in budget development and financial analysis
• Proficiency in using software applications for data manipulation and reporting
• Understanding of university policies and sponsoring agency guidelines
• Ability to communicate effectively with faculty and administrative staff regarding budget matters
