Oncology Case Manager RN

Job Summary

Providing comprehensive care coordination, the full-time Oncology Case Manager RN will manage inpatient and outpatient oncology patients remotely, ensuring effective communication, treatment planning, and patient education while adhering to clinical guidelines and cost containment strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and manage data for the Case Management process, ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines
• Conduct clinical assessments to coordinate appropriate medical services and manage complex cases, including transplant cases
• Educate members and their support systems on diagnoses and treatment options while collaborating with community resources

Required qualifications

• A nursing degree from an accredited college, university, or school of nursing
• Minimum of two years of experience in oncology
• At least one year of experience in utilization management or case management
• Current, active, and unrestricted compact Registered Nurse license
• Certification as a Case Manager or eligibility to sit for the exam within three years of employment
