Oncology Certified Data Curator

Job Summary

To support a dynamic healthcare environment, the part-time Informatics Clinical Data Curator will navigate various healthcare systems to review patient records, curate disease-related data, and collaborate with multiple teams while working remotely on a 1099 contract basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Manually review patient charts to curate data from unstructured sources
• Define data element requirements to assist in SQL queries for structured data
• Organize data from multiple sources, including retrospective and concurrent medical record curation

Required qualifications:

• Healthcare professional degree qualification (RN, Ph.D., MD, CPhT, MA) highly preferred
• Minimum of an associate degree in nursing or a bachelor's degree in a related field required
• Oncology Certified Nurse certification (or similar) is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology or hematology required
• Basic understanding of ICD-10 coding is required
