Oncology Clinical Biomarker Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Principal Scientist - Global Biomarker Lead, Oncology Clinical Biomarkers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and drive clinical biomarker strategies for oncology clinical studies
• Formulate testable hypotheses for patient stratification and pharmacodynamics based on clinical trial samples
• Manage biomarker elements in clinical protocols, regulatory submissions, and publications while fostering collaborations with external partners

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 2 years, Master's degree with 4 years, Bachelor's degree with 6 years, Associate's degree with 10 years, or High school diploma/GED with 12 years of industry experience in oncology clinical biomarkers
• Preferred: Doctorate degree (PhD and/or MD) with 4+ years of industry experience in oncology disease biology
• Experience with pharmacodynamic and predictive biomarkers in clinical settings
• Clinical development experience with cross-functional teams in clinical trials
• Proficiency in biomarker assay development and collaboration with academic labs and CROs
