Job Summary
Leading the execution of early and late-stage clinical trials for oncology products, the full-time remote Oncology Clinical Development Director will design study protocols, act as a medical monitor, and collaborate with internal teams to analyze safety data and interpret clinical trial results.
Key responsibilities
- Design, prepare, and initiate study protocols in compliance with regulations and good medical practices
- Act as medical monitor for company-sponsored trials and support project teams with therapeutic area-specific information
- Analyze and interpret clinical trial data, preparing reports for regulatory agencies and publications
Required qualifications
- MD with a minimum of 5 years of post-residency experience, preferably in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology
- Experience in drug development within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, including hands-on clinical trial execution
- Participation in clinical oncology studies involving molecular targeted or immunological therapies
- Strong understanding of basic science relevant to clinical oncology, such as biochemistry and molecular biology
- Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional/matrix environment
