Oncology Clinical Development Director

Job Summary

Leading the early phase clinical development of oncology compounds, the full-time remote Oncology Clinical Development Director will manage protocol development, study startup, and data analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver early phase clinical trials.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and implementation of early clinical development strategies for oncology therapeutic candidates
• Prepare clinical development plans, study protocols, informed consents, and regulatory submissions
• Review and evaluate clinical study safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetic data

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• 2 years of industry or academic clinical research/drug development experience
• Board certification or eligibility in Oncology (preferred)
• 3+ years of relevant drug development experience in the pharmaceutical industry or academia
• Experience in designing and implementing clinical trials
