Oncology Clinical Development Executive Director

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic leader, the full-time salaried Oncology Clinical Development Executive Director will shape and execute clinical development strategies for emerging oncology indications while overseeing multiple Global Medical Leads and ensuring high-quality program execution, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the US.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and lead disease cluster strategies to enable entry into new oncology indications aligned with enterprise priorities
• Provide oversight to Global Medical Leads, ensuring timely execution of clinical programs and high-quality data delivery
• Engage in business development activities, evaluating in-licensing and partnership opportunities while contributing to strategy development

Required qualifications:

• Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, or a related field
• 8-10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, particularly in oncology clinical development
• Demonstrated experience leading global development teams and executing clinical development strategies
• Strong cross-functional expertise spanning clinical, regulatory, safety, and commercial areas
• Established track record in people leadership and talent development
