Job Summary
Leading the development of innovative immunotherapy programs, the full-time salaried Oncology Clinical Development Lead will be accountable for overseeing asset development from late preclinical stages through life cycle management, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment based in Northbrook, IL.
Key responsibilities:
- Directs a Brand Asset Team or a significant late-phase development asset team, defining strategy and execution plans
- Serves as the primary point of accountability for program development vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals
- Leads cross-functional asset teams, managing resources and technical expertise to meet strategic objectives and milestones
Required qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in the sciences or pharmaceutical sciences
- At least 10 years of experience in drug development team leadership within pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, or biotechnology
- Proven success in leading the development of assets in early development stages, preferably in immunotherapy or cell therapy
- Experience with regulatory submissions, including IND/IMPD and NDA/MAA/BLA preparation
- Strong leadership skills in a highly matrixed environment with cross-regional coordination
