Oncology Clinical Development VP

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Vice President, Clinical Development Oncology to lead clinical advancement in oncology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical development strategy for cholangiocarcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma programs
• Manage and build a clinical team to execute program goals in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Interface with regulatory authorities and oversee the development of key regulatory submission documents

Required Qualifications

• MD strongly preferred; advanced scientific degree (PhD, PharmD) considered with relevant experience
• 10-15+ years of clinical development experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry, focusing on oncology
• Direct experience in liver cancers (HCC, cholangiocarcinoma) strongly preferred
• Knowledge of early and late phase clinical trial design and global regulatory requirements
• Experience managing scientific staff and building relationships with key opinion leaders
