Oncology Clinical Operations Director

Job Summary

To support a transformative mission in oncology, the full-time remote Oncology Clinical Operations Director will lead the execution of clinical programs, manage line operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and direct multiple clinical programs within a Therapeutic Area Unit, focusing on quality, budget, and timelines
• Oversee and support Clinical Operations representatives in global program teams, ensuring objectives are met and issues are escalated appropriately
• Accountable for budget planning, vendor oversight, and inspection readiness, while contributing to clinical development strategies

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 9 years in clinical study management, including oncology experience
• Proven expertise in managing complex clinical programs and understanding global regulatory compliance
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, with experience in line management
• Fluency in business English, both oral and written, with the ability to influence without authority
