Oncology Contracting Associate Director

Job Summary

Supporting drug discovery and development, the full-time salaried Oncology Contracting Associate Director will manage complex procurement-facing agreements, drive process improvements, and build strategic relationships within the Early Phase Oncology organization while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional collaboration to support Lilly Oncology's pipeline needs and compliance with internal policies
• Provide authoritative guidance on procurement contracting and influence decisions on complex compliance and contractual issues
• Independently manage all phases of contract drafting and negotiation, coordinating with Legal and Subject Matter Experts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in biology or related scientific discipline and/or MBA preferred
• 5+ years of applicable experience in contract management and research, or 7+ years without an advanced degree
• Scientific literacy and background in relevant biological disciplines
• Experience in procurement-facing contracting within a biotechnology or pharmaceutical setting
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis
