Oncology Data Specialist Certification

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Oncology Registry Data Specialist - PRN WFH - Cancer Registry.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and abstract reportable cancer cases from medical records in compliance with relevant standards
• Maintain abstracting timeliness and productivity requirements while ensuring accuracy
• Collaborate with the oncology registry team to enhance processes and monitor workflow compliance

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3 or more years of experience in healthcare or healthcare informatics required; oncology data experience preferred
• Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification from the National Cancer Registrars Association required
• Knowledge of American College of Surgeons' standards and requirements
• Computer competency including Microsoft Office, EPIC, and CRStar
