Oncology Data Specialist - WA

Job Summary

To support cancer data management, the full-time Clinical Registrar - Tumor Registry will collect, compile, and maintain demographic and clinical data on cancer cases diagnosed and treated at Providence facilities while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and maintain demographic, clinical, and follow-up data on all cancer cases
• Extract data from various sources including EPIC and Mosaic for state and local submissions
• Ensure compliance with standards set by the American College of Surgeons in all cancer registry work

Required qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience
• In lieu of an Associate's degree, an additional 2 years of cancer registry experience
• Oncology Data Specialist certification from the National Cancer Registrars Association upon hire
• At least 2 years of cancer registry experience
