Job Summary
Leading cross-functional development teams, the remote or hybrid Vice President, Asset Team Leader will leverage expert-level knowledge in biology to drive the scientific strategy and execution of early oncology development programs across all phases of drug development.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement drug development strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and governance
- Lead external engagement efforts, including publication planning and collaboration with key opinion leaders and partners
- Coordinate strategic and operational activities across various teams to optimize performance and deliver value to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Advanced education in biology or a closely related scientific field, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry
- Significant leadership experience managing cross-functional oncology asset teams through all phases of drug development
- Proven ability to engage with executive leadership and external stakeholders effectively
- Experience in multiple drug development disciplines, with a preference for hematology oncology
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to function effectively in a matrix organization
