Oncology Director, MD

Job Summary

Seeking a distinguished Director of Oncology, MD for a full-time consulting engagement, this role will provide strategic direction and oversight for a high-visibility federal healthcare initiative, leveraging deep clinical expertise and VA experience to drive program outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior program leadership presence, leveraging oncology experience to inform strategy and engage federal stakeholders
• Establish program governance frameworks and lead executive-level engagement with federal healthcare leadership
• Drive cross-functional coordination across clinical, administrative, and operational teams to ensure cohesive program execution

Required qualifications

• MD required with oncology specialty and active or former VA clinical experience
• 15+ years of experience in healthcare, combining clinical practice and program or operational leadership
• 8+ years of direct oncology experience with exposure to large-scale program implementation
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior federal healthcare leadership
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required
