Oncology Medical Director

Job Summary

Leading early and late-stage clinical trials for oncology products, the full-time Senior Clinical Development Medical Director will design study protocols, act as a medical monitor, and collaborate with internal teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and initiate study protocols in compliance with regulations and good medical practice
• Act as medical monitor for company-sponsored trials and support project teams with therapeutic area-specific information
• Analyze clinical trial data and prepare reports for regulatory agencies and publication

Required qualifications:

• MD with a minimum of 8 years of post-residency experience, preferably in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology
• Experience in drug development within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
• Hands-on experience in designing, executing, and reporting controlled clinical trials in oncology
• Understanding of basic science relevant to clinical oncology, such as biochemistry and molecular biology
• Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional/matrix environment
