Oncology Medical Director

Job Summary

Leading the clinical and medical strategy for CareDx's expanding oncology portfolio, the full-time Medical Director, Oncology will focus on solid tumors, particularly head and neck malignancies, and will manage clinical study design, evidence-generation strategies, and partnerships with key opinion leaders in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of clinical studies, including investigator-initiated trials and translational research collaborations
• Develop evidence-generation strategies to support clinical adoption and reimbursement pathways
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in head & neck oncology and represent the company at major conferences

Required Qualifications

• MD with fellowship training in Medical or Surgical Oncology preferred
• Subspecialty expertise or strong clinical focus in Head & Neck Oncology
• Proven experience in clinical trials, publications, and scientific presentations
• Expertise in precision medicine, molecular diagnostics, or biomarker-driven oncology care
• Experience in academic or research-driven environments preferred
