Oncology Medical Operations Director

Job Summary

Providing medical leadership and clinical oversight for ordering physicians, the full-time remote Oncology Medical Operations Director will manage physician onboarding, optimize ordering workflows, and enhance the clinical experience initiatives within the oncology business.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the physician-facing point of medical contact for ordering providers, applying clinical judgment to resolve questions and concerns
• Lead the development and optimization of physician onboarding and ordering workflows to ensure a seamless experience
• Identify and address clinical and operational barriers that impact physician adoption, utilization, and retention

Required Qualifications

• MD degree required, with clinical training sufficient to engage ordering physicians as a credible peer
• Strong understanding of physician workflows and clinical decision-making realities for ordering providers
• Experience in healthcare operations, payer organizations, or process improvement functions preferred
• Demonstrated ability to improve healthcare delivery and operational efficiency
• Experience working across medical, operational, and commercial teams is highly desirable
