Oncology Medical Science Director

Job Summary

Supporting Medical Affairs in a remote capacity, the full-time Medical Science Director will engage in compliant scientific exchange, insight gathering, and cross-functional collaboration across oncology and related therapeutic areas while fostering relationships with healthcare providers and institutional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support medical affairs activities through scientific exchange and insight gathering across oncology and other therapeutic areas
• Engage with healthcare providers and institutional decision-makers to develop trusted relationships
• Assist in the development and execution of medical strategy, including publication planning and evidence dissemination

Required qualifications

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent)
• Preferred 1+ years of field medical/MSL experience in a related role
• 1-5+ years of experience within an academic, healthcare, or pharmaceutical setting preferred
• Oncology experience required, with additional experience in infectious disease, nephrology, or critical care strongly preferred
• Exceptional scientific communication and presentation skills
