Oncology Medical Science Liaison

Job Summary

Functioning as a highly trained field-based scientific expert in oncology, the full-time Medical Science Liaison/Senior Medical Science Liaison will engage healthcare professionals and leaders in clinical and scientific exchange regarding the client's pipeline of products, while working remotely and managing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare practitioners in the Northeast region.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary medical point of contact in the assigned geographic area, maintaining clinical expertise in oncology
• Develop and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and engage in scientific peer exchange
• Provide medical support and insights from interactions with KOLs to internal teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines

Required qualifications

• An advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA) is required
• A minimum of 2 years of MSL experience with at least 1 year in oncology, or 5 years of pharma experience with 3 years in oncology for the Senior MSL role
• Strong knowledge of standards of care for prostate cancer and experience with product launches
• Ability to interpret and present scientific data effectively to engage KOLs and payors
• Familiarity with NCCN Guidelines and oncology research consortiums is highly desirable
