Oncology Medical Science Liaison
Job Summary
Functioning as a highly trained field-based scientific expert in oncology, the full-time Oncology Medical Science Liaison will engage healthcare professionals in scientific exchanges, maintain expertise in treatment standards for locally advanced prostate cancer, and develop relationships with key opinion leaders while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary medical point of contact in the assigned geographic area
- Engage in scientific peer exchanges and maintain clinical expertise in oncology, focusing on locally advanced prostate cancer
- Develop and manage key opinion leader engagement plans and collaborate with commercial colleagues on account strategies
Required qualifications
- An advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA) is required
- A minimum of 2 years of previous MSL experience with at least 1 year in oncology is necessary
- Genitourinary oncology experience is strongly preferred
- Prior product launch experience is required
- Working knowledge of standards of care for prostate cancer is essential
