Oncology Nurse Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of Nurse Team Leads, the full-time remote Oncology Nurse Manager will ensure high standards of clinical care while driving performance, productivity, and a culture of compassion within the nursing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage and mentor Nurse Team Leads to enhance their leadership skills and team performance
• Set and monitor performance metrics across teams, utilizing data to implement improvement plans
• Champion NCQA-compliant workflows and documentation to maintain quality standards and compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and an unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 8 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in a leadership role within oncology navigation or case management
• Certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Specialist (AOCNS), or Certified Case Manager (CCM)
• Proven experience in coaching and mentoring teams to drive results and performance improvement
• Hands-on experience with data-driven performance management strategies in a remote environment
