Oncology Nurse Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of Nurse Team Leads, the full-time remote Oncology Nurse Manager will drive clinical care standards, mentor emerging leaders, and implement performance management strategies to enhance team productivity and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage and mentor Nurse Team Leads to develop effective leadership skills and enhance team performance
• Set and monitor performance metrics across teams, utilizing data to identify trends and implement improvement plans
• Champion NCQA-compliant workflows and documentation to ensure quality standards and compliance practices are maintained

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and an unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 8 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in a leadership role within remote oncology navigation or case management
• Certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN), or Certified Case Manager (CCM)
• Proven experience in coaching and mentoring teams to drive performance and accountability
• Hands-on experience with performance management strategies and data-driven approaches to improve team productivity
