Oncology Nurse Manager, RN

Job Summary

Leading a team of Nurse Team Leads, the full-time remote Oncology Nurse Manager, RN will focus on enhancing clinical care standards, coaching emerging leaders, and implementing performance management strategies to drive team productivity and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage and mentor Nurse Team Leads to develop their leadership skills and enhance team performance
• Set and monitor performance metrics, utilizing data to identify trends and implement improvement plans
• Champion NCQA-compliant workflows and documentation to ensure quality standards are consistently met across teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and an unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 8 years of nursing experience, including 2 years in a leadership role within remote oncology navigation or case management
• Certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN), or Certified Case Manager (CCM)
• Proven experience in coaching and mentoring teams to drive performance and accountability
• Hands-on experience with data-driven performance management strategies in a remote environment
