Oncology Nurse Navigator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Complex Oncology Nurse Navigator.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and monitor changes in health for members diagnosed with cancer
• Coordinate care transitions and educate members and caregivers about their diagnosis and treatment
• Assist with administrative projects and communicate feedback to clinical leadership to improve service offerings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a compact unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 5 years of nursing experience, with 3 years in high-acuity adult oncology
• Certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN), or similar
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure while maintaining organization
• Willingness to learn and use new technologies, including electronic health records and video conferencing tools
