Job Summary
To support a compassionate oncology care experience, the remote or hybrid Oncology Nurse Practitioner will evaluate and manage members' urgent symptoms, develop comprehensive care plans, and oversee interdisciplinary case conferences to ensure high-quality care for patients with cancer.
Key responsibilities
- Utilize a telemedicine platform to assess and manage members with urgent symptoms and treatment complications
- Collaborate with onboarding RNs to create care plans addressing clinical and non-clinical needs
- Direct interdisciplinary case conferences to monitor and adjust individualized care plans for members
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience, including 2 years in adult oncology and 1 year in telehealth
- Unrestricted Advanced Practice license and compact RN license, with a willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Experience in developing evidence-based, member-centered care plans
- Proficiency in using technology and electronic health records
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
