Oncology Patient Scheduler

Job Summary

To support the UHealth Department, the full-time Oncology Patient Scheduler will oversee scheduling workflows, assist with the training of lower-level schedulers, and ensure the coordination of diagnostic therapy and procedures in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees the scheduling workflow of all departmental patient schedulers
• Provides daily scheduling reports and triages diagnostic technologist worklists to ensure accuracy
• Assists the Supervisor with the implementation of new scheduling techniques and conducts performance improvement meetings

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to lead, motivate, and train others
• Experience with quality assurance processes in scheduling environments
• Proficiency in handling confidential information with discretion
