Oncology Physician Contractor

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated Oncology Physician Contractor, this remote role will provide high-quality cancer care through clinical assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration with local treatment teams, utilizing telehealth technology.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans while collaborating with local clinicians for evidence-based cancer care
• Assess patients with cancer screening abnormalities and facilitate diagnosis in collaboration with the primary care team
• Educate patients on treatment options and manage oncology-related symptoms in a virtual setting

Required qualifications:

• MD or DO, fellowship-trained and board-certified in Medical Oncology
• Valid state medical license in good standing, with willingness to obtain licensure in all 50 states
• Minimum of 2 years independent oncology-related clinical practice experience post-fellowship
• Broad expertise across a range of cancers
• Proficient telehealth skills, including patient care via video and audio, and use of electronic health records
