Oncology Principal Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Principal Scientist in Oncology, the full-time remote position will manage and direct experimental studies, support drug discovery programs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance oncology research initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute critical experimental studies to support multiple oncology programs
• Oversee study planning, protocol design, execution, and data analysis of pharmacology studies
• Manage outsourced studies with external vendors and collaborate with the broader research team

Required qualifications

• PhD in a relevant biological discipline with a minimum of 5+ years of experience, or MS with 7+ years, or Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrated expertise in cancer cell biology and relevant experimental techniques
• Experience in the evaluation and development of small molecules
• Strong track record in oncology with multiple successful projects and publications
• Exceptional analytical thinking and strategic skills
