Oncology Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

To support oncology patient access, the remote Oncology Reimbursement Specialist will analyze billing processes, ensure compliance with charge items, and coordinate communication between various stakeholders while managing departmental performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze departmental reports and provide feedback to improve billing accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate projects and audits to enhance revenue cycle efficiency and collection efforts
• Trend and report on departmental performance indicators, making recommendations for improvement

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with post-secondary courses in Accounting, Finance, or related fields preferred
• Four years of related experience in healthcare; a Bachelor's degree can substitute for the experience requirement
• Proficiency in data analysis, billing/collections, and insurance claims
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
