Job Summary
To enhance patient access and revenue cycle efficiency, the full-time Oncology Reimbursement Specialist will analyze billing processes, coordinate communication with insurance providers, and manage departmental performance reporting while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and provide feedback on department-specific reports to ensure accurate billing and compliance
- Coordinate projects and audits to improve revenue cycle processes and efficiency of billing and collection efforts
- Trend and report on departmental performance indicators, making recommendations for financial system improvements
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with post-secondary courses in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
- Four years of related experience in healthcare, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field as a substitute for experience
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, billing/collections, and insurance claims
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience in developing and providing training to new and existing employees
