Oncology Scientific Director

Job Summary

Responsible for the planning, development, and oversight of scientific content for various therapeutic areas including Oncology, the remote Scientific Director will work with clients to provide strategic medical communication recommendations, lead content development activities, and supervise Associate Scientific Directors.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Group Scientific Director to deliver strategic medical communication recommendations that align with brand goals
• Independently lead the execution of content development activities while managing writing and content-related tasks
• Supervise Associate Scientific Directors and coordinate with in-house or freelance staff to ensure quality and accuracy in scientific content

Required qualifications:

• Advanced degree in science is required
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with promotional medical education content
• Experience in oncology, particularly with solid tumors such as lung cancers, is required
• Familiarity with professional medical editorial processes and ethical guidelines
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
