Oncology Scientific Lead

Job Summary

Seeking an Oncology Scientific Lead in a full-time hybrid role, responsible for overseeing and approving scientific content, mentoring junior writers, and contributing to project development and client engagement within medical communications.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and review scientific/clinical content for assigned projects, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Engage in high-level medical writing and manage the workloads of junior medical writers as directed
• Assist with business development activities, including research and writing support for proposals

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD preferred)
• 4-5 years of experience in medical communications, with at least 3 years as a Senior Medical Writer
• Proficiency with ICMJE and GPP guidelines and a history of high-level writing support
• Demonstrated interest in mentoring and managing people
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and industry-standard resources
