Oncology Search & Evaluation Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Search & Evaluation - Oncology.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Proactively search for and evaluate potential opportunities aligned with external business development strategies for the Oncology pipeline
• Lead assessments of opportunities, managing interactions with external parties and developing recommendations for senior management
• Oversee due diligence efforts for advanced opportunities and prepare technical documents for presentation to senior management

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in a Life Sciences Field, preferably Oncology-related
• 12+ years of relevant industry experience, with 2-3 years in Search & Evaluation, business development, or related fields
• Practical experience in drug development areas such as Discovery, Preclinical Development, or Clinical Development
• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills in evaluating partnering opportunities
• Strong existing network within the industry to identify emerging opportunities
