Oncology Social Worker (State Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Oncology Social Worker.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and provide emotional support to patients and families
• Identify and connect patients with relevant community resources for complex social needs
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care and address social or emotional barriers

Required Qualifications and Education

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid and current master's level license in the practice state (e.g., LMSW, LISW, LCSW)
• Preferred certifications: OSW-C or APHSW-C
• Minimum three to five years of experience as a social worker in a healthcare setting, preferably in oncology or palliative care
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
