Job Summary
Collaborating with oncology clinical and operational stakeholders, the remote contract Oncology Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert on oncology applications and clinical workflows, focusing on implementing cloud strategies to enhance data-driven decision-making and cancer care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a quality consultant and subject matter expert for oncology applications and cloud strategy
- Collaborate with technical teams to conduct root cause analyses and implement oncology cloud strategies
- Engage with oncology service line leaders and end-users to assess current technology capabilities and define future-state solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Demonstrated expertise in oncology clinical workflows, electronic medical records (EMRs), and cancer registry data
- Knowledge of Varian and Elekta cloud strategies in Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology
- Ability to synthesize complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights for oncology care teams
- Experience working in high-stakes clinical environments and managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision
