Job Summary
Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the full-time salaried Oncology VP Clinical Development will provide medical leadership for the lung cancer development program, focusing on clinical development strategy, protocol execution, and regulatory interactions, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote or onsite capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the clinical development subteam for lung cancer studies, ensuring high-quality scientific oversight and data-driven decision making
- Design and implement efficient clinical trials, monitoring study integrity and managing safety and efficacy data
- Contribute to global regulatory filings and health authority interactions, authoring clinical sections for INDs and NDAs
Required qualifications
- M.D. degree or equivalent with board certification in Oncology or Oncology/Hematology; fellowship training in thoracic oncology preferred
- 8-10+ years of experience in oncology clinical trials and drug development, particularly in lung cancer
- Experience as clinical lead on late-stage clinical programs and involvement in regulatory filings
- Extensive knowledge of clinical trial methodology and regulatory compliance requirements
- Demonstrated executive leadership skills and ability to collaborate in a matrixed team environment
