Job Summary

A nonprofit company is seeking a Online 8th Grade Math Instructor in New York City.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Document and assess student progress throughout the summer program
  • Develop and implement a math curriculum
  • Utilize various instruction models and create activities that are fun and engaging for learners

Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in middle school or high school
  • B.A. in education, Mathematics or related field
  • NYC/NYS certification in Mathematics or significantly experienced
  • Familiarity with NYC common core standards
  • Access to a computer with webcam and microphone
  • Experience in cooperative learning groups and inquiry-based learning techniques
